Giulia Padovani

Born in Brazil, lived in Venezuela from 2012-2014 and today she is a student at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas (2016-2020). She conducted her research during the years 2018-2019 under the guidance of Dr. Jane Victal Ferreira, which resulted in the participation and presentation of the work in scientific events such as the International Symposium on Scientific Initiation of the University of São Paulo (SIICUSP), in 2019.

“The experience I had on this program was very important, because it made me review many things, took me out of my comfort zone and made me confront my weaknesses. I believe that was the strongest point of this experience, because it made me grow and face myself as a future professional. It made me understand my journey here and made me realize that the future is made up of the small steps we take. And in this way, without realizing it, we have evolved a lot.

So, I believe that I will leave here with a new vision and a lot of learning and new knowledge. I leave not only with a new enriched portfolio but with a new professional and personal perspective.

We developed a very strong and powerful project, in which everyone collaborated, with important ideas and concepts. Despite the unexpected difficulties we faced this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we came together as a team and I believe that we have overcome this challenge very lightly.

Finally, I am very grateful and I feel very privileged to have had this opportunity to learn from these attentive professionals who are motivated to form better architects”.
